What is the best way to schedule a lesson?
Scheduling a lesson is quick and easy! Here's how to get started:

1️⃣ Download the FREE Home Field Instruction App You can find it in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. This is the best way to schedule lessons and stay in the loop with practice reminders, updates, and everything happening at Home Field — you won't receive reminders on your phone without the app!

2️⃣ Create Your Account Use the player's name and player's date of birth to set up a new account. Already have one? Just log in through the app. Forgot your password? No problem — use the "Forgot My Password" option to get back in.

3️⃣ Sign the Waiver and Add Your Payment Method Once you're logged in, sign the waiver and add your payment information so you're all set to book lessons whenever you're ready. And that's it — you're ready to start scheduling!
Do you offer memberships?
Yes, we do! We have a few membership options to fit your needs: HF Performance & HF Performance Plus Memberships – Get monthly cage access, plus discounts on lessons, camps, and clinics.

Daytime Power Membership – Enjoy cage access before 2:00 PM on weekdays.

Collegiate Membership – College players get access to cages at an even better rate.

HF Value Membership – Don't need cage access but still want to save? This membership gives you member pricing on all lessons, camps, and clinics.

No matter your training needs, we've got a membership that works for you!
Do you offer private lessons?
We sure do! We offer private lessons for every skill, including hitting, pitching, infield, outfield, catching, speed & agility, and strength & conditioning.

Scheduling is easy — book any skill right through our app, or give our staff a call or text at 937-305-0668. We also have lesson packages available if you're looking to save while committing to your development!
Are your batting cages open to players who aren't part of a Home Field team?
Definitely! We welcome all players to come in, work hard, and get better — no matter what team you play for.

The easiest way to get on the books is to text us at 937-305-0668. We'd definitely recommend checking in advance, since space is limited. If you just show up without a reservation and we're full, we'll have to turn you away, and that's the last thing we want to do!
What gear do I need to bring?
Players should bring their own personal gear, including a helmet, bat, batting gloves, and fielding glove — plus a water bottle to stay hydrated during your session!

We've got you covered on the rest — balls, tees, L-screens, and training aids are all provided.

Forgot your gear in the other parent's car? No worries at all! We have bats available to borrow, and there's usually a glove or two in the lost and found you can use for the day.

One important reminder: cleats are not allowed inside Home Field, so be sure to wear sneakers or turf shoes for your session.
Can I rent space for a whole team?
Absolutely! We offer team rentals that include full indoor turf areas and multiple batting cages — perfect for getting your whole team some quality reps together.

Advance booking is required, and team time typically runs 1.5 hours, split evenly between cage work and infield time. Plus, Hack Attack pitching machines are included with your rental at no extra cost!

A quick heads-up for winter off-season planning: we begin booking starting in August each year, so to have the best shot at securing your team's preferred time, be sure to return the Google Request Form by the end of July.

Looking for something a little different? Consider bringing your team in for a HitTrax session — it's a great way to mix in some team bonding and fun while still getting valuable reps in!
How can local teams reserve cage space or the full infield?
Reserving cage space or the full infield is easy — just reach out to our scheduling coordinator, Jodi, at 937-305-0668. Texting is the best way to get in touch. She'll work with you to find the right fit for your team's continued development.

HitTrax is also available and is a perfect way to bond as a team while improving your skills!

For which sports do you offer training at Home Field?
Our main focus at Home Field is baseball and softball — from private lessons to skill-specific training, we're built to help players in these sports grow their game.

But we know athletic development goes beyond just one sport! That's why we also offer strength and conditioning, along with speed and agility classes, designed to benefit athletes across the board. Whether you play baseball, softball, soccer, football, or anything in between, these programs can help you build a stronger, faster, more well-rounded athletic foundation.

No matter your sport, we'd love to help you take your training to the next level!
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy for lessons?
We totally understand that plans change! Here's how it works: if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, class, workout, or camp, just let us know at least 24 hours in advance, and you'll receive a full credit to use toward a future session.

We just ask for that 24-hour notice so we can make the most of everyone's time — including opening up that spot for another player. Thanks so much for understanding!
What levels do you train? How young and how old?
We train players of every age and skill level — from rookies just getting started to seasoned veterans looking to sharpen their game. No matter your age, ability, or talent level, our instructors are here to help you reach your full potential.
What should I expect in a 1:1 lesson?
Great question! When you come in for a 1:1 lesson, our experienced instructors will start by getting to know your current skill level and pinpointing the areas where you have the most room to grow.

From there, they'll walk you through drills designed specifically to strengthen those weaknesses — all in a supportive, hands-on environment. And you won't leave empty-handed! You'll walk away with a personalized plan to keep building on what you learned, so you can keep improving long after the lesson ends.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Venmo, and all major credit cards — whatever works best for you!

Just a quick heads-up: there's a 3.5% surcharge on credit card purchases. If you'd like to avoid that, paying with cash or Venmo is the way to go.

When booking your own lessons online, payment is required at the time of booking. But don't worry — you don't have to miss out on saving that surcharge! If you'd rather pay with cash or Venmo, simply send us a message at 937-305-0668 and let us know what you're looking to book. We'll do our best to get you scheduled, and once you're all set, you can pay upon arrival at the service desk.
How are Home Field team fees calculated?
For Home Field select teams, fees are based on what the coach selects for that specific team — including training, tournaments, and leagues the team plans to participate in throughout the season.

Once a player is invited to join a Home Field team, they'll pay a commit fee and choose a payment plan that works for them.

Payment can be made with credit card, cash, or Venmo. Just keep in mind there's a surcharge for card payments — if you'd like to avoid that, paying with cash or Venmo is the way to go!
How many players can use a single cage?
To keep things safe, organized, and comfortable for everyone, we limit each cage to 2 players at a time due to space constraints.

If your player wants to bring a friend, sibling, or teammate along to train together, that's totally fine — the second player will just need a Buddy Pass to join them in the cage. This helps us keep track of cage usage and make sure everyone gets a great training experience.

If you're interested in grabbing a Buddy Pass or have questions about how it works, feel free to reach out to Jodi at 937-305-0668, and she'll be happy to help you get set up!
What is a Buddy Pass?
A Buddy Pass is what a player needs if they want to join a friend, sibling, or teammate who's already rented space in the facility for training. This applies to all kinds of activities — cage rentals, infield rentals, pitching lab rentals, weight training, and more!

It's a simple way to make sure everyone training together is accounted for, so you can bring a buddy along for the ride. If you have any questions about getting a Buddy Pass, feel free to reach out to us at 937-305-0668 — we are happy to help!
